VIDEO: Shots Fired at Nebraska Troopers

December 2, 2015

Troopers Andrew Phillips and Steven Peck spotted a car with a broken tail light and initiated a traffic stop.  The vehicle did not obey orders to pull over and a chase ensued.

Shortly thereafter, the passenger of the vehicle leaned out and fired shots at the troopers with a sawed off shot gun.  Two shots hit the police cruiser’s windshield on the passenger side.

Fortunately, both troopers weren’t hit.

The two suspects in the vehicle were taken into custody shortly after the incident.
