Scenario-Based Trainer Summit
A three-day scenario-based trainer summit, in Vegas

“This is the most dangerous time to be a police officer. Ever.” So says Tony Blauer, who is hosting a two-and-half-day conference in Las Vegas, August 26 – 28.
This conference is about scenario-based training—the missing link in making the streets safer, improving community relations and decreasing litigation against your agency. “There’s a bigger magnifying glass on law enforcement now,” says Blauer. “Police officers are going to be scrutinized after the fact no matter what they do. We all need to be on the same page here and that’s the point of this conference.”
The conference features:
Greg Amundson, CrossFit liaison to law enforcement;
J.C. Glick, leadership expert and former U.S. Army Infantry Officer; and
Tony Blauer, combatives expert and founder of Blauer Tactical.
“Defensive tactics, leadership and fitness—these are all the same thing,” says Blauer Tactical instructor Rick Randolph. “We separate them, and this creates a problem. You can’t divorce mental preparation from physical preparation.”
“It’s what you need to win a fight,” says Blauer. “It’s also what you need to do your job the rest of the day. One of the things that people fail to recognize, especially in law enforcement training, is functional fitness that prepares you for your job. Mindset is a big part of this. We need to adapt our thinking and improve our critical faculties, while improving confidence in your ability to do your job.”
This symposium is for law enforcement, military and first responders. “It is in appreciation of all you do that we seek to help you do it better,” says Blauer.
Cost: $200
Where: Las Vegas Convention Center
When: August 26 – 28
