Audio: Accused Ferguson Shooter Confesses in Jail

April 3, 2015

Jeffrey Williams, the man accused of shooting and wounding two police officers in Ferguson, MO may have confessed in a phone call from Jail.

Williams can be heard saying the following:

“I ran up the hill and he (an unidentified person) shot at the car. … I shot back.”

“Even though I was in the wrong, though, I should have just went the other way….Oh man, now I’m looking at 10 years. “Nobody aiming at no police”

Williams’ Attorney has said Williams told him he never fired during the protest.  This audio seems to tell a different story.
