An attempt by three armed robbers to hide their identities was thwarted when a dashboard camera in the stolen car they fled in recorded their escape.
The men in this video are accused of robbing a man who was refilling the ATM at Breaux’s Hide-Away in Lockport, La., at gunpoint on Feb. 2.
Police said at the time that the men tied up the bartender and one patron inside, and used a stun gun to shock the man refilling the ATM. They fled in the victim’s Ford Taurus, which had a video system installed on the dashboard.
The alleged robbers removed their masks inside the car, and the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office posted a video of their getaway on YouTube. The three men have been arrested on armed robbery charges.
