The International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA) is a group that every law enforcement trainer should seriously consider joining, and each year the ILEETA Conference puts on a show for all in law enforcement. This year—April 20 – 25, 2015, at the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, Ill.—there will be more than 150 courses offered by some of the best trainers in the industry.
It’s much more than just classroom sessions. There are range events, contests, an exhibit hall, defensive tactics rooms, simulators, and more. Calibre Press is proud to once again be a corporate sponsor of ILEETA and will be sponsoring the Emerson Hour, hosted by Brian Willis, on Monday night. Don’t miss it!
“The future of this profession has always been in the hands of trainers,” says Jim Glennon, owner and lead instructor of Calibre Press, “and trainers need to network. To me, that’s the real value of this conference, the networking with other trainers. There’s very little ego at ILEETA and a whole lot of sharing.”
What makes ILEETA succeed is the strength of its members. It’s a who’s-who of trainers, representing five continents, “committed to the reduction of law enforcement risk through the enhancement of training for criminal justice practitioners.” Join up. Be there!
